Touch bracelets for long-distance couples

What to know before you buy

• Each wearer needs their own phone with the totwoo app running, Bluetooth enabled and Wi-Fi or mobile data. Keep each bracelet near its own phone; the bracelets do not send signals directly to each other across long distances.
• In the app you can choose the light color and vibration for your signals.
• Some listings are a set for two and some are a single piece — the Totwoo product page says which. Totwoo says its styles can be mixed and matched; check compatibility there before pairing a single with one you already own.
• The bracelets are rechargeable and come with a charger; Totwoo says a full charge takes around 60 minutes.

How do long-distance touch bracelets work?

A touch is relayed through the wearer’s Bluetooth-connected phone and the totwoo app to their partner’s connected jewelry, which lights up and vibrates. The distance between the two people is different from the Bluetooth range between each bracelet and its own phone. Both people need internet access and the app running.

Does the price include two bracelets?

Check each listing before comparing prices: this feed includes both single pieces and sets. A lower-priced single is not the same purchase as a pair. Confirm the number of pieces, size, compatibility and included charger on the retailer’s product page.
